On 30th December 2024, ARKADIA AEROSPACE PROPULSION & TRANSPORTATIONS SYSTEMS S.L. was granted a grant of 1.400.088,66€ from the Centro para el Desarrollo Instituto Tecnológico y la Innovación (CDTI) for the execution of the project “Satellite for In-Orbit Sustainability (SIOS)”, under the Programa Tecnologico Espacial (PTE) 2024 call, with project reference number PTEG-20241010.

INPYME 2024 – ARKADIA AEROSPACE PROPULSION & TRANSPORTATIONS SYSTEMS S.L ha recibido 55.312,22 € de la Conselleria de Innovación, Industria, Comercio y Turismo con el objetivo de que la empresa pueda desarrollar un segundo banco de ensayos de motores orbitales de mayor empuje.
La inversión del proyecto se focaliza en la optimización de los procesos de validación a través del desarrollo de un nuevo banco de ensayos para la empresa que permitirá independizar operaciones, eliminar la necesidad de subcontrataciones de servicios en instalaciones de terceros, disminuyendo los gastos en este tipo de ensayos y aumentando la capacidad de la empresa, mejorando así su competitividad.
On 28th April 2023, ARKADIA AEROSPACE PROPULSION & TRANSPORTATIONS SYSTEMS S.L. was granted a grant of 39.650€ from the Fundación EOI, F.S.P. for the execution of the project “HORIZON-CL4-2021-SPACE-01-22: Low cost high thrust propulsion for strategic space launchers – technologies maturation including ground tests” under the «Activa Startups» initiative, within the framework of the Plan de Recuperación, Transformación y Resiliencia, with project reference number 33.

ARKADIA AEROSPACE PROPULSION & TRANSPORTATIONS SYSTEMS S.L. was awarded a €3,500 prize in the 16th Edition of the “Premios IDEAS UPV” (2022), organized by the Universidad Politécnica de Valencia, on 16 December 2022.
PROJECT IMIDTA/2022/9 “MONARK – Prototipo de motor cohete MONopropelente verde de ARKadia basado en Peróxido de Hidrógeno (HTP) de alta concentración”
The main objective of the MONARK project is to investigate rocket engines (“thrusters”) based on green monopropellant and develop an initial prototype of a 5N thrust green monopropellant thruster. Research in green chemical propulsion and thruster development lay the groundwork for ARKADIA’s future developments of a family of monopropellant and bipropellant thrusters, enabling the development of sustainable and cost-effective space propulsion systems that contribute to enabling the emerging market of space logistics. Furthermore, to ensure compliance with the requirements and needs of customers (platforms and space vehicles providing services in orbit), we have automated our own test bench that allows for experimentation and validation under atmospheric conditions.
The project is supported by IVACE under the “Proyectos de I+D de PYME 2022 (PIDI-CV)” program, with a grant of €61,820.28. This grant is co-financed at 60% by the European Union, within the FEDER Program of the Valencian Community 2021-2027.
